Description 3/4″ Inch Industrial High Pressure Brass Electric Solenoid Steam Valve Teflon Seal Normally Closed WIC Valve 2BCL series 2-way normally closed electric solenoid steam valve is to control On/Off of air, inert gas, liquid and steam. This brass electric solenoid steam valve has one 3/4″ inch NPT inlet and one 3/4″ inch NPT outlet port. Valve stays close when the coil is de-energized, and it opens when energized. 2BCL series solenoid valve is a high pressure pilot piston solenoid valve, it requires a minimum of 7 PSI to operate. 2BCL Series solenoid valve comes with a ED 100% encapsulated coil which suitable to operate in continuous service and constantly energized. To ensure optimum flow performance, valve should be mounted in vertical position with the coil vertical and inlet/outlet ports horizontal. 2BCL Series Brass High Pressure Electric Solenoid Steam Valve Specification: Valve Type: 2 Way Normally Closed (Valve opens with energized) Service Media: Air, Gas, Liquid, Hot Water, Steam Operation Model: Pilot Piston Flow Model: Uni-Directional Body Material: Brass Seal Material: Teflon (PTFE) Armature Tube Material: Stainless Steel Coil Certification: CE Certification Coil Power: DC: 30-40W, AC: 35VA Coil Class: H Class IP 65 Coil Duty: 100% ED (Continuous Duty) Operating Pressure: 7 to 230 PSI Operating Temperature: -5 to 180°C or 23 to 356 °F Port Size: 3/4″ Inch NPT Female Port Coil Voltage Option: 12V DC, 24V DC, 24V AC, 110V AC, 220V AC Voltage Tolerances: DC: 10% –5% ; AC: 10% -15% Electrical Connection: DIN 43650A Coil Connector with LED Indicator 2BCL Series High Pressure Electric Solenoid Steam Valve Dimensions: Model Port (NPT) Flow Rate (Cv) Orifice Size A B C D 2BCL-1/2-D 1/2″ 4.8 17 69 42 146 82 2BCL-3/4-D 3/4″ 4.8 17 69 42 146 82 2BCL-1-D 1″ 12 20 69 52 162 90 2BCL-1 1/4-D 1-1/4″ 24 22 69 74 185 110 2BCL-1 1/2-D 1-1/2″ 29 22 69 74 185 110 2BCL-2-D 2″ 48 48 69 86 195 120 2BCL Series Brass Steam Solenoid Valve Component Drawing: Valve Frequently Asked Questions: What is IP65? Ingress Protection (IP) ratings are developed by the European Committee for Electro Technical Standardization (CENELEC) (NEMA IEC 60529 Degrees of Protection Provided by Enclosures – IP Code), specifying the environmental protection the enclosure provides. The IP rating normally has two (or three) numbers: 1) Protection from solid objects or materials 2) Protection from liquids (water) 3) Protection against mechanical impacts (commonly omitted, the third number is not a part of IEC 60529) IP First number – Protection against solid objects 0 No special protection 1 Protected against solid objects over 50 mm, e.g. accidental touch by persons hands. 2 Protected against solid objects over 12 mm, e.g. persons fingers. 3 Protected against solid objects over 2.5 mm (tools and wires). 4 Protected against solid objects over 1 mm (tools, wires, and small wires). 5 Protected against dust limited ingress (no harmful deposit). 6 Totally protected against dust. IP Second number – Protection against liquids 0 No protection. 1 Protection against vertically falling drops of water e.g. condensation. 2 Protection against direct sprays of water up to 15o from the vertical. 3 Protected against direct sprays of water up to 60o from the vertical. 4 Protection against water sprayed from all directions – limited ingress permitted. 5 Protected against low pressure jets of water from all directions – limited ingress. 6 Protected against temporary flooding of water, e.g. for use on ship decks – limited ingress permitted. 7 Protected against the effect of immersion between 15 cm and 1 m. 8 Protects against long periods of immersion under pressure.
