Description The Slee Formed SliderSteps with AHC Protection plates for the LX700h with AHC s a complete bolt on FRAME MOUNTED slider solution. Manufactured from High Strength Low Alloy (HSLA) 7ga (3/16″) sheet metal and 1/4″ and 3/8″ supports. SlidersSteps extend outwards to form a step for easy entry and exit out of vehicle. High Strength Low Alloy (HSLA) has nearly twice the strength and impact resistance of general purpose mild steel (A1011 and A36). 30-36ksi Yield strength vs 50ksi yield strength minimum. The sliders consist of a frame mounted L flange that bolt to the center section of the frame with the lower L section captures the bottom of the frame. This L shaped configuration ensures that the slider does not want to “peel” way from the frame when upward forces are applied to the bottom of the slider. This frame flange has tabs welded to it where the slider legs that are welded to the slider body bolts to. This design enables us to install on the frame and work around the AHC components on the frame. Two legs that are welded to the slider bolts to these tabs. The center flange also incorporates a center protection plate for the AHC valve body. LX700h AHC Slider bolted to center bracket with built-in protection plate for AHC Components. The front and rear legs are welded to the slider body and then bolt to brackets attached to the frame. The front bracket bolts to the body mount frame bracket and then the slider leg bolts to the bracket. This does require two holes to be drilled into the body mount bracket on the frame. The bracket is further strengthened by a frame reinforcement bracket that is inserted inside the body mount frame bracket. Front Slider leg bolted to body mount bracket The rear slider bracket that is also welded to the slider body is sandwiched between two frame brackets. One side bolts to the rear body mount bracket and the other to the frame itself. One additional hole is drilled for added strength. 3/8″ Rear leg bolted to the frame. There are two aluminum tread plates attached to the top surface of the slider body. These are only available in black. Tread plates have formed non slip formed grip features and also coated in non-slip powder coat. The sliders further feature bolt built in and bolt on protection plates for all the AHC components. These front and rear protection plates bolt to the sliders after installation. The center plate is part of the center frame flange. These plates reduces the possibility of damaging the vital AHC components. Complete Slider installed with Protection Plates for AHC components. The sliders are finished with a textured powder coat finish and supplied with all the necessary hardware for installation. The sliders also have holes that allow for an optional light kit to be installed that can be tied into the vehicle wiring.
