Description Quick Change Tool Post Set- Multi Fix – 40 Position – 5 Pcs. Set Toolpost and toolholder profile-ground. Easy to operate. Any number of different toolholders can be used. 40 tool-bit positions. Adjustment for height of the tool bit is controlled by a knurled head screw without using packing plates or shims. Loosening and locking of any toolholder is performed by simple eccentric clamping. Save time by changing the toolholder from the top without moving longitudinal or traverse slides. Bore with longitudinal feed by using toolholder with inner taper. Eliminates complicated boring with the tailstock. Mounting on Lathe: Profile-ground serrated toolpost to be mounted with support clamping bolt. The centering disk should be bored to the dimension of the clamping bolt (snug fit not necessary). It is recommended that the toolpost with clamped toolholder and boring bar be aligned at a right angle to the face plate. The toolpost is locked on the support by means of two set pins. The marking point should then be set on “0” and the nut of the clamping bolt tightened.
